Miami County Recycles! Billboard Art Contest

Miami County’s K-12 students are invited to showcase their artistic talent and their commitment to the environment by participating in the 1st Annual Miami County Recycles! Billboard Art Contest. This year’s theme is What Can I Recycle? Drawings should show at least one item that can be recycled. The winning drawings will be displayed on billboards around the county, along with the winner’s first name, grade, and school. The drawings will also be highlighted in the Miami County Recycles website and Facebook page.

Two winning drawings will be selected from each grade category: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Winners will be chosen based on creativity and artistic design, and on how the drawings communicate this year’s theme to the public. Remember that your drawings will help remind other residents to recycle!

To participate in the contest, draw your design on an 8 1⁄2” x 14” sheet of paper.

Then, mail your drawing to:

Billboard Contest

2200 N. Co. Road 25A

Troy, Ohio 45373

Or, you may scan your artwork and email it to: lkarch@miamicountyohio.gov. Along with your drawing, please include the student’s name, grade and school. Drawings must be received by Monday, April 16.
