Tipping Rates:
- Charges for refuse are $59.05 per ton with the $4.75 OEPA fee for a total charge of $63.80 per ton. Loads of 200 pounds or under will incur a minimum charge of $5.00.
- Payment can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
- Clean, pre-sorted recyclables may be deposited at the Recycling Center for no charge.
Pay As You Throw Program
The SWARF, or Blue Bag program, allows you to purchase five garbage bags for $6 and drop them off during normal operating hours for no additional charge. Bags can be purchased at the scales house. Full bags can be placed at a drop-off in the Recycling Center.
Surcharges:
- Tires: We accept 10 tires per visit. All tires with rims will be charged an additional $2.00
- Lawnmower Tires (Under 12” Rim Size) $1.00 each
- Small Truck and Passenger Tires (Under 17” Rim Size) $3.00 each
- All Larger Trucks Tires (17” to 22.5” Rim Size) $6.00 each
- Commercial Vehicle Tires $10.00 each
- Farm Tire (22.5” to 42” Rim Size) $25.00 each
Appliances:
Freon removal of $10.00
Large Material/Dig Out Service Charge:
Rate: $100.00 per hour or any part thereof, for labor and equipment for box dig out, handling material eight (8) foot and larger, clean-up of misplaced solid waste.
