Recycling Center

The Miami County Recycling Center is a free recycling drop-off for Miami County residents. It is located in front of the scales at the Miami County Transfer Station.Residents may bring clean, pre-sorted recyclable materials during the Transfer Station's operating hours.

Materials accepted for recycling at the Miami County Recycling Center:

• Plastic bottles, jugs, tubs, and cups only; (food-grade materials only)
• Aluminum cans
• Steel cans and lids
• Plastic and Metal Cups
• Cardboard (no Styrofoam)
• Glass bottles and jars
• Newspapers
• Office paper and magazines
• Telephone books and catalogs
• Household batteries - please tape terminals of batteries with a voltage of 1.5 or higher

    *Cup recycling includes plastic cups with lids, paper cups without lids, and aluminum cups.  No straws or coloful party cups.
